#58 new painting

this is where the cutest baby deer go when they die. Preserved from the light, its hooves preserved by tangles of hair that are soft on the feet and keep the hard ground from wearing down the soles. The floaters are there to keep an eye out.




might do some more pieces based off of this one. Can't decide what though. I may do a whole series about the deer, Rupert, which this painting is based off of in the first place. Rupert is (was) a real baby deer that became internet famous because of how F*CKING cute he was. But he died, as do most baby animals.
