#18 October 2nd (2D Artist)

I have been listening to the new Sigur Ros album, Gobbledigook, quite a bit lately. Especially the title track. When I finally saw the music video for Gobbledigook, I KNEW I had seen photographs stills from that video! And I had! They are by a wonderful photgrapher named Ryan McGinley. He has a series of a wild band of teens that run amok in nature while nude. Stunning photos of playfulness and this sense of seductiveness from being innocent again. The song absolutely goes along with the photos. I wish I had heard the music the first time I had seen the photos about 5 months ago.

McGinley's work reminds me of Justine Kurland's work, if Kurland's models were naked. heheh
