I describe his work as provocative and surreal. He turns common objects like chairs and makes them appear pliable and soft but they are made from hard materials. In some work he turns non-solid particles like light, into solid mass, emphasizing the shape and action that say a lamp creates when turned on. Same goes for water and liquids--he turns them into solid mass.
