The world of Lesley-Ann Green is one that I would love to get lost in. Her work reminds me of my own, of my own imagination and what I dream of. The people she creates express a lot of character, even though they are not actually alive, they feel like it. Working with materials that are often associated with craft (felt, sculpey, etc) it gives the work a childish feel to it, but I know this imaginary world is very serious.
