Been thinking I want to design a skate deck someday soon. I need to get a portfolio together and take it to Prestige. I like the guys that own and run that place. Nice folks and the company is good.
I dunno if you are aware but there are some EXCELLENT artists who are also pro skateboarders. I dunno why that is. But the skateboarding world is saturated with talent in both fields. Ridiculous. But deck art is such a good medium and is so damn fun. Or, it can be. Seems like a lot of poster artists cross over and design skate decks. I want to do something fresh. Something with my monsters and long armed floaters and parade bears. Sloths. Valentines. Fuzzy motorcycle mice.
